At “A Diverse Networking Evening: Connect & Collaborate” in Brussels, organised by we.are.diversa, Beinsitu’s work focusing on sustainability, cultural heritage, local practices, craft, and urban issues was shared. Bringing together participants from EU institutions, the private sector, civil society, and academia, the event offered an inspiring setting for exchange and new connections.


Opening and Exhibition: “Bridging Art Deco: A Hidden Heritage from Istanbul to Brussels”
The “Bridging Art Deco: A Hidden Heritage from Istanbul to Brussels” exhibition welcomed visitors at the Faculty of Architecture of Yıldız Technical University between 23 February and 13 March 2026. Bringing Istanbul’s hidden Art Deco and modern architectural heritage to light, the exhibition returned to the city after Brussels and drew attention to cultural heritage, architectural history, and urban memory.


Exhibition: “Bridging Art Deco: A Hidden Heritage from Istanbul to Brussels”
Prepared in collaboration with Beinsitu Sustainability Institute, the DOCOMOMO_Türkiye Working Group, and Yıldız Technical University, the exhibition “Bridging Art Deco: A Hidden Heritage from Istanbul to Brussels” brings Istanbul’s hidden Art Deco heritage into view. The exhibition is open from February 23 to March 13 at the Dean’s Hall, YTU Faculty of Architecture; opening day is Monday, February 23, with speeches at 14:30 followed by the opening at 15:30.


Field Trip: İstanbul Craft Neighborhoods: Perşembe Bazaar
Within the scope of Özyeğin University’s INAR 200.B Integrative Design: Exploring Ecological Design for Human Habitats course, a field trip was conducted to Perşembe Pazarı, one of Istanbul’s long-established craft neighbourhoods. Led by Sena Biliş and guided by field expert Aslı Kıyak İngin, the trip examined the production and trade ecosystem of craft neighbourhoods through social, cultural, and spatial layers, enabling students to analyze human-city-production relationship
